Season 5 #StorytellersBloghop

For the fifth year in a row, we’re proud to host a blog hop dedicated to fiction writers—a celebration of the art of storytelling and the magic of imagination. Over the last five years, my co-hosts, Meenal and Sonal, and I have worked tirelessly to create themes that not only push creative boundaries but also captivate and challenge our readers. Each year, we aim to raise the bar—to find that perfect balance between creative freedom and structured inspiration.

This year’s theme, Echoes of Tomorrow, dives into the complex and fascinating world of human and AI co-existence. It’s more than just a futuristic premise—it’s a reflection of the choices and consequences that emerge when humanity and artificial intelligence collide. Will AI elevate humanity or render it obsolete? Can machines learn to feel, or will logic always overpower emotion? Through this theme, we invite writers to explore not just technological advancement, but the raw, human questions beneath it: survival, identity, and the fragile line between control and freedom. #storytellersBloghop

Next story teller is Ratna

Her introduction:

My love for stories is rooted in my childhood, thanks to the indulgence of movie- and book-loving parents. Reading books was an essential part of growing up, and being a chatter-box helped me transition from reading to writing without too much of a hitch.

I write stories to entertain, and maybe ponder a wee bit, which means simplicity is at the core of every tale. That’s why the name Stories Made Simple. While love for retelling mythologies is huge, I cannot stop myself from using my pen to knit all kinds of yarns, digging deep into a rich repertoire of experiences, both from my personal and professional world.

4th Story teller is Romila

I am Romila – thenovemberschild since 1996 and well known blogger. I started blogging in 2004 because I had an overflowing mind and a habit of narrating stories in my head that needed an outlet. Writing had been my world since childhood, but blogging gave me an interactive space where I could share my thoughts beyond the pages of my notebooks. It was also a rebellion—against gatekeepers who decided what was ‘good’ writing. Blogging allowed me to write freely, unapologetically, and humorously (because why be boring?).

As for my favorite piece, that’s like asking me to choose between my books and my MK Tote—impossible! But if I had to pick one, Ephemera, my haiku collection – my 25th book, holds a special place. It’s raw, poetic, and precise—everything I love about writing in its purest form.

However, a story close to my heart is a long poem I’ve yet to publish. It’s about time, nostalgia, and moments we fail to grasp fully. It lingers in my mind like a song you can’t stop humming.
